Here we go... So, since we live so far from most of our friends and family I thought this would be a good idea. Bare with me as I am just figuring it out. Right now the we are trying to figure out how to plan at trip home for Thanksgiving, but not sure we can come yet. We won't be coming home for Christmas because I want Santa to visit Riley Ann at her own house, and that's how it will be from now on. Yes, I know that she won't remember it, but I have said this for years. Plus I'm excited about a nice calm Christmas where we aren't stressed about trying to make everyone happy and stressing ourselves out too much. Riley Ann will be 7 months old Saturday! I can't believe our baby girl so big. I love seeing what she learns every day. She is teething like mad. We started solids foods last week, which I am making myself and using organic. She likes avocados, but not squash. Today we tried bananas, and they were a success plus she has had frozen fresh carrots in the mesh things to chew on today and loves that. Bath, baths, and more baths. She loves taking baths, and I swear if we would let her stay in for 24 hours, she would. Splashes like crazy and nothing phases her in there, no fear of anything really. Her favorite thing is to be outside, and lately our weather has been perfect. Mama and Daddy took her to walk on the pier on the Gulf at sunset last night for the first time and she loved it. We have pictures coming up soon that I am very excited about. Also Halloween, and she is going to be WAY TOO CUTE! We just ordered our first pairs of Tom's and are all very excited. I know I am writing about the most random stuff, but it's what's going on with us right now. We both, Mama and Daddy, got kayaks recently. Daddy's is very nice but Mama's needs a little work. We have a new little something we are wanting very badly, but don't want to jinx it, so you'll have to wait to hear about it. Riley Ann and I are going to run to Storkland to shop a little and hear about new baby stuff they are going to carry from the ABC expo. I'll update again very soon.
